Michael Wolfe

Michael has published ten books of poetry, fiction, nonfiction, translation and travel. His two books from Grove Press, The Hadj and One Thousand Roads to Mecca, were his first works concerned with Muslims and Islam. These books and a documentary that aired nationally on ABC Nightline broke new ground, providing mainstream Americans with a more nuanced understand about Muslims and Islam. In 1997, Michael and Alex Kronemer began founding UPF as the first American Muslim media company. He holds a degree in Classics from Wesleyan University. He is President of UPF and co-executive producer of UPF's films.
