Zeki Göbelez
Chief Operating Officer
Zeki Göbelez is the Chief Operating Officer at Unity Productions Foundation (UPF), where he leads the organization’s financial and business operations and provides strategic support to the CEO. With a strong background in business management and a proven track record in the for-profit sector, Zeki brings a results-driven approach to nonprofit leadership.
At UPF, Zeki oversees financial planning, budgeting, and annual independent audits, ensuring transparency and fiscal responsibility. He also directs the foundation’s film distribution and sales strategy across broadcast, streaming, and educational platforms. In addition, he is responsible for cybersecurity and financial security, working closely with the IT Manager to safeguard UPF’s digital and financial infrastructure.
Beyond his work at UPF, Zeki is a co-owner of Zeki Textiles Inc., a textile recycling company based in Uşak, Turkey, where he contributes to sustainable business practices and international trade.
Zeki holds a Dual-Diploma Degree in Global Politics and International Affairs from SUNY Binghamton and Middle East Technical University. He earned his MBA from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business and holds a Nonprofit Finance Certificate from Rice University.
